My favourite visitor is back

Brodie visits again

My favourite visitor

Poor Brodie arrived back home about a week ago after being missing for a few hours, minus his collar, and with some scratches on his poor nose. The scratches look to be healing up nicely, so I've been giving him lots of pampering so he doesn't miss his slaves too much while they are away visiting Sarah in London.

My amaryllis is finally in bud - well, the bud has opened today but I haven't taken a photo yet. Maybe later today, though the light isn't very good at present. I'm not keen on using flash if I can avoid it - colours seem much truer with natural light.

What a beautiful bud and great colours! Glad to see that the little cat is safe but sorry about the scratches! One of my Mum's cats came home with a fat lip last week, goodness knows what he'd been up to!!

Hope you have a nice weekend {{{HUGS}}} xx

Its brilliant that he seems to settle in so well, but scary when he goes missing!! Glad he's not too badly beaten up.
My mum used to grow amarylis, haven't grown one in years!

I love the photo of the amarylis bulb. They are so fantastically beautiful in bloom!

I would hate for Buster to go missing. Glad Brodie turned up OK.

Good for auld Brodie. You are fine, yes? I read your blog and miss you when YOU go missing... are you and Brodie off on your own adventure now? Don't you go showing up with scratches, now.

That's one heck of a bud! Better late than never, unless yours is supposed to bloom around now. Mine burst forth on Christmas Eve. Should have got a photo, but actually that would have been impossible as it had to lean up against a window, the stem was so long and bendy.

I just got caught up on your blog and first off, I am so happy that your kitty returned safely.

Your caravan looks lovely, and hopefully will provide some of the relaxation that you so need and deserve, after your rough year.

My heart goes out to you as you grieve your parents, and I hope you muster up the strength to cope with the bad days...

Take care, and have a nice weekend!
Linda

p.s. Have your read the Helen Forrester books starting with Liverpool Miss...? They are wonderful and have me poking about your blog to spy some areas of Liverpool that were mentioned in the book!
